When you’re dealing with financial data, security is fundamental. That’s why Entryless protects its customers’ data with strong, enterprise-grade information security practices and tools. We insist on using the best methods available for our client’s data.
Strong Data Encryption
All of our data is encrypted with the internationally-recognized AES-256. AES stands for Advanced Encryption Standard, and it has been rigorously tested and approved both by the National Institute of Standards and Technology in the US, but also the Communications Security Establishment of Canada. Many independent parties have run batteries of tests on AES to ensure its safety.
Data in motion—meaning network traffic, web pages, uploads, and downloads—all happen over encrypted HTTPS connections. You can double check this by looking at your address bar while using Entryless.
Securing Payment Information
Companies that handle credit card information are required to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS, or usually just PCI). PCI compliance ensures the protection of cardholder identifying data, such as name, social security number, and CVV. If any of this information is stored, it must be encrypted and stored securely.
Entryless doesn’t directly handle credit card transactions, but we partner with companies that do. We make sure that all affected parties are fully PCI compliant and act responsibly with our customers’ data.
It’s Not Just the Technology, It’s a Mindset
All of these standards and abbreviations don’t mean anything without the commitment to security. We understand that real information security doesn’t just come from blindly following installation instructions and impersonal standards. Security needs to be built into a financial product from the ground up, from technology to process to personnel. At Entryless, everybody is involved with ensuring the safety of our customers’ data.
When a product handles so much customer financial data, security needs to be the cornerstone of your business. At Entryless, we not only understand that, but we work hard to excel at data security and protecting your information.
